Model Railroad Operating Layouts in the Greater Capital Region of NY

CAPNYRAILOPS, which is short for Model Railroad Operating Layouts in the Greater Capital Region of NY, is the name of a group of model railroad layout owners in the greater capital region of New York state (e.g., Albany NY) and surrounding areas. We are dedicated to the realistic operations of model railroads, and our model railroads depict all areas and eras. Everyone is sure to find something they can enjoy during our operating sessions.

Currently, our group consists of 8 active railroads, with 4 upcoming railroads under construction. We are always seeking to add more operating railroads, and we welcome layout owners to join the website. Operating Sessions

Railroad owners schedule their operating sessions on this website. Once a session is scheduled and open for registrations, registered operators can sign-up for open slots on the Call Board after they log-in to the website.
